Some very dear friends recently lost a daughter. I cannot imagine what they are going through. They asked that we light a candle for her. Every light in the world helps. It may seem like a small gesture in a vast universe but you would be surprised at the outcome if everyone in the world shared more of their light.
Candles are lit
People trying to make sense of it.
Old or young
It matters not
This current life is all you’ve got
To cry and grieve
Loved ones gone and more to leave
Life is gifted
Bad and good
Maybe you shouldn’t maybe you should
Take each day
Like a power shot
Live in the moment it’s all you’ve got!
Zentoni Number Seven
It’s said that the eyes are the windows to the soul. Again, focus. Look at this drawing and you will see the world moving around us. People are talking, horns are blowing, so many sparks of energy going this way and that. Do we stop to look into someone’s eyes when they talk to us? Do we ever stop to look into our own eyes? I don’t know where I first heard or read of this exercise, but looking into the mirror and gazing into your own eyes is quite an experience! It is the first step to loving yourself. And I don’t mean in a narcissistic way. We spend all our time trying to fixing things, making sure no one gets their feelings hurt. We go out of our way to care for someone else. That’s not a bad thing, but there has to be some balance. So today, look in the mirror, and not just at the lines on your face or the imperfect nose, but at your eyes. Look INTO your soul. Spend one minute, sixty seconds and go deep inside of you. Tell YOU how much you love YOU. Feel the shift inside your heart as you connect with your soul. Just think how great you will feel if you do this every day!
HAVE A BEAUTIFUL AND JOYFUL DAY
Miriam Webster defines the circle as a closed plane curve every point of which is equidistant from a fixed point within the curve. In sacred geometry the circle represents the spiritual realms.
Circles commonly represent unity, wholeness, and infinity. Without beginning or end, without sides or corners, the circle is also associated with the number one. Circles are often seen as protective symbols. Standing within a circle shields a person from supernatural dangers or influences outside of the circle. Conversely, a circle can also be containing, keeping that which is inside from been released. http://altreligion.about.com/od/symbols/ig/Geometric-Shapes/Circles.htm
Zentoni Number Four is about connection. It’s about the collective consciousness of this universe. The circles represent all of humanity and all beings from all worlds and how we are interlocked with one another. If we realize that every person, every living cell is connected to us, it might just change how we choose to treat others. If we throw a pebble into the pond, it causes a ripple, sending out a reaction to the entire body of water that is connected to that one little spot where your pebble made its splash. If you treat your fellow beings with love, it will travel out from you to the next being and so on for ever. Each day, be more conscious of your words and your actions. Remember that what you say and do goes out into the pond of the universe, and as circles do, will eventually find its way back to you.
Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows. 1930’s radio drama.-Frank Readick Jr.
My shadow photo taken in Cheyenne, WY 2008
According to Wikipedia, The Shadow is a collection of serialized dramas, originally on 1930s radio, and then in a wide variety of media. Details of the title character have varied across various media, but he is generally depicted as a crime-fighting vigilante with psychic powers posing as a “wealthy, young man about town”. One of the most famous adventure heroes of the twentieth century, The Shadow has been featured on the radio, in a long running pulp magazine series, in comic books, comic strips, television, serials, video games, and at least five motion pictures. The radio drama is well-remembered for those episodes voiced by Orson Welles.
In movies and stories, shadows are usually depicted as the dark or evil side of the self. Why does it always have to be thought of as “negative ?” Why can’t the shadow be incorporated into the whole of the person? It is just an opposite like yin and yang, male and female or up and down. When you look into the mirror you see a REFLECTION of yourself but when you look at your shadow you see deep inside your SOUL. It doesn’t have to be scary at all. It’s all in how you CHOOSE to see it.
Words are like arrows. They come at you without warning out of nowhere. How do you react? The words alone cannot physically harm you unless they are written on a real live baseball bat! Sometimes people send out words before they fully process their impact on the receiver. The receiver takes those words and in turn processes them in his or her own way. Do you actually think about your words before they leave your mouth? How do you receive someone’s words? Once put out in the cosmos, words are there forever, just floating around in space. Will those words dissipate like cosmic moths, or will they come back to bite you in the ass?
If I Scream in the Woods…..
Some of us like to do things ourselves. Yes everything, by ourselves. We don’t need help, and we don’t want to ask for help because we can do it all. Hmm… We don’t want to bother other people with our problems. Hmm… HUMANS ARE NOT MEANT TO BE ALONE! We are each just one tiny cell in the organism of humanity and connected to the universe by a tiny cosmic thread. WE ARE NOT ALONE!!! If you don’t ask for help, how will anyone know you need it. Remember the philosophical saying, “If a tree falls in the woods and there is no one around to hear it does it make a sound?” If no one can HEAR your voice, how can you expect to be HEARD?
