How many times have you wanted to scream out loud? If you could go out into the woods, or off to the beach, or into the middle of a crowded city street and let it all go, would you feel better inside? You should try it sometime. We don’t all live in a place where we can go to an isolated place and launch some primal scream out into the infinite universe in order to release some stuck energy deep within our soul. We can however go into a room, close the door, grab a pillow and let it go. Therapist have been suggesting this for years. It is a great stress release. Beat the pillow and imagine it is the person or situation you are frustrated With. It won’t hurt the pillow at all. It won’t hurt your hand and it’s better than putting your fist through the wall. Keeping thoughts and feelings locked in a cage only hurts you. Let the caged scream fly free!
